Yoda speaks the way he does (in English) because it is not his original language. In other words, he speaks English words, but uses the grammar structure of his original language.

They communicate through the Jedi Temple. I’d think it’s just something about that temple on Lothal. The usual “the force is strong” shtick, in this case letting them talk from across different planets.

What language does Yoda speak? The answer to this is surprisingly clear: It’s English (duh). In all five of the movies he’s in, he speaks only English. This is not to say that he doesn’t speak any other language, but we actually don’t have any evidence he does.

Darth Vader built C-3PO and spent a lot of time with him from the time of his mother’s death to his turn to the dark side. There are several look-a-like protocol droids in the franchise. Obviously, C-3PO does not recognize Vader because his memory was wiped at the end of Revenge of the Sith.

He does not know about the twins, though no explanation is ever given for this. Vader never knows that his offspring survived until Palpatine tells him about the Son of Skywalker in ESB. At that point, Vader begins to doubt Palpatine and starts to plot against the Emperor.
