Prudence helps the intellect to see the right thing to do and to choose the right means for achieving it. Prudence entails the application of good moral principles to particular cases assisting us to know what to seek and what to avoid. Prudence is necessary in order to seek the common good for all.

Prudentia personified held a mirror for self-awareness (which we call “conscience”) and a serpent for wisdom, as in the painting (below) in the Uffizi, Florence. The wisdom about behaviour that can build up into a reliable capacity is the virtue we should call prudence.

False prudence is the name given to the vices of excess which are opposed to prudence. Generally these refer to excessive thought and concern about obtaining various objects you may desire.

Wisdom and prudence are the two virtues of the intellect. Wisdom implies intuitive reason, which grasps undemonstrable first principles; it is concerned with the interests not of the moment, the individual, or the locality. Whereas prudence is concerned precisely with these; it is essentially practical.

1. Give yourself up for her. Marriage can be seen as one big journey from selfishness to selflessness.
2. Keep her clean.
3. Help to reveal her beauty.
4. Love her as you love yourself.
5. Get as close to her as possible.

A Godly man is one that puts an emphasis on his own integrity. He strives to be honest and just. He works to develop a strong ethical foundation. He has an understanding of Godly behavior, and he wants to live to please God.

So perhaps the best sign that a Christian man likes you is if he is showing you more attention than he does other people. If a man is focusing on you and being deliberate to interact with you in ways the he does not do with other people, this is probably a sign that he likes you.

Becoming a Proverbs 31 woman means working hard to become a woman who honors God. To simplify this even more I have a list of things I try to do daily/weekly/monthly that helps me become closer to God. Remember that you are worthy of God’s grace. Be truthful and faithful.

“She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.”

Attributes of the Proverbs 31 Woman

• She is More Precious Than Jewels. A Proverbs 31 woman is hard to find; she is rare and very valuable (Proverbs 31:10).
• She is a Good Wife.
• She is a Homemaker.
• She is Wise.
• She is Charitable.
• She is Prepared for the Future.
• She Outfits Her Home and Herself in Fine Linen.
• She Has a Husband Who is Well-Known and Respected.

The wise woman of Proverbs 31 does not eat the bread of idleness but this foolish woman consumes it. The word “idle” means to “lean idle, having no value, use, or significance”.

To eat food that one has not personally earned. The phrase originated in the Bible.

She was busy embracing her role as a wife of noble character. She did not “eat the bread of idleness”, but was busy managing her home, her family and her responsibilities. This phrase means that she is keeping her family as first priority.

The purposes of a man’s heart are deep waters, but a man of understanding draws them out. Many a man claims to have unfailing love, but a faithful man who can find? The righteous man leads a blameless life; blessed are his children after him.

How do you become a virtuous woman?

1. Make Jesus Your Lord and Savior (In Him are all the Virtues that makes a woman Virtuous).
2. Study the word and principles of God.
3. Develop your self, read books and so on.
4. Study Virtuous Women in the bible and in our society.
5. Remain in Christ.

For her price is far above rubies.

Faith and hope are defined in the dictionary as follows; Faith is confidence or trust in a person or thing or a belief not based on proof and Hope is an optimistic attitude of mind based on an expectation or desire. Faith says it is so now, and hope says in the future it could happen.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

Charity, in Christian thought, the highest form of love, signifying the reciprocal love between God and man that is made manifest in unselfish love of one’s fellow men. St. Paul’s classical description of charity is found in the New Testament (I Cor. 13).

The gift of faith is that which allows you to walk boldly for Christ. When Jesus spoke, He spoke with assurance and authority that when He spoke it would happen. When he told the blind man to see, he would see.

Faith sees beyond space and time and knows that everything is already as it should be. Hope dwells with the expectation of seeing in the physical reality what faith sees in the spiritual. And love is the eternal dimension that remains forever.
