THIS … deserves way more credit than it's gotten. The Acolyte, the latest television series in the ever-expanding Star Wars universe, has been intensely polarizing since its announcement; with some fans decrying the "female-centric" description used to sell the series, attacking the cast, creator and nearly everyone else involved for "pushing an agenda" or not having enough prior knowledge of the larger Star Wars universe, and seemingly found some new thing in every episode to use as proof that the show should have killed the entire franchise.
