Karna lied to Parshuram saying he is Brahmin and took all the teachings of Brahmaastra. Parshuram found that Karna is not Brahmin and he lied to him. At this point Parshuram cursed Karna.

Arjun did not need to use Pashupatastra against Karna. He was capable of defeating him without it (as he did a number of times before the Kurukshetra War).

That’s when Duryodhana instructed Karna to kill Ghatotkach using his weapon so as to save their army from getting wiped out. The weapon could only be used once and thus Karna had to use it on Ghatotkach. That’s why he couldn’t kill Arjun.

So he could be defeated killed and overpowered easily so how do he kill Krishna. Also for that matter no one ever has achieved this in a duel with Krishna. So no Karna as a warrior was weak and thus could not even stand Krishna for few second if it comes to duel.

Karna was the son of kunti(Bua of Lord krishna, and mother of pandavas), Lord krishna knows this fact from beginning. So he showed his virat avatar to Karna during his final war between, him and Arjuna.

Both are greatest archers in Indian History. But Arjun was supported by God himself… so he never faced defeat. His things were easier as he was a Prince of Kuru clan. whereas Karna has earned everything in life with lot of hard work, determination, sacrifice and based on his talent.

Arjuna lived 125 years and 02 months. Kunti = 31 years. Pandu = 36 years.

1. According to many folk tales, Draupadi was secretly in love with Karna. She admits to Krishna that she had a soft corner for him. Folklore states that Krishna had sent the perfect husband for her (Karna) – one who would love and protect her all her life and be faithful to her.
