Bridgerton's showrunner, Jess Brownell, revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that Season 4 of the beloved TV series is already in production. So, yes, the fan-favorite series will be back for a fourth season, but the show isn't coming back anytime soon.

In the interview, Brownell stated that the script for the new season is almost ready, but it will not hit the screens until 2026. Well, the time difference between the second and third seasons was two years, so it seems that the creators decided to go with same pattern.

Hinting towards the fourth season, Brownell said it would be her best work compared to the previous seasons. She also confirmed that the scripts for the upcoming season will be much better than what we had so far. After Daphne, Francesca became the central character of the series. Besides her, Penelope and Colin also starred in the third season, so now fans are desperate to know who will play the central roles in the renewed season. While many fan theories suggest that it will be Eloise, several believe that Benedict will get to play the lead role in Bridgerton.
