Microsoft has introduced the latest Windows 11 Build 25136 to the Dev channel and it's not just about bug fixes. The update brings features like tabs in File Explorer, new widget updates and more. To remind, the tab-based File Explorer was announced in April of this year and is now on its way to the Dev channel.

Primarily, this update includes tabs in the File Explorer so people can easily search for files. This will help people open different folders in tabs instead of separate windows. File Explorer has also received a new look for the left navigation pane, making it easier to find important folders.

With this, users will be able to easily access pinned and frequently used folders and the OneDrive cloud profiles will now display a user's name. Known folders will no longer appear in the "This PC" section and the address bar will show the correct path when searching for a folder linked to a OneDrive account for better clarity.

There is an update for widgets as well and Microsoft will now show more "dynamic" content such as live updates from the sports and finance widgets. Currently, the widgets in the lower left corner only display weather information. With this, users will be able to stay updated about these widgets. The content is said to be quick and at a glance, and more information will be provided when a widget is pressed. You can take a look at it below.
