Deadpool & Wolverine | Henry Cavill's Wolverine

Deadpool & Wolverine brought back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine/Logan. After the 2017 film Logan, the actor had taken off his adamantium claws and hung up his superhero costume. But now, a few years later, he's ready to get back into the groove and smash through his enemies (and some friends). I mean, there's no way he's not getting his claws through the dirty merc.

But when news of his retirement hit the market, one thing on everyone's mind was who would be the next Wolverine. From Daniel Radcliffe to Taron Egerton to Henry Cavill, many names popped up. But no one ever came close to confirmation, and now we already have Jackman back. But even then, sooner or later, the actor will say goodbye to this character for good, and fans are eager to know who can take up the mantle next.

Henry Cavill's name has come up quite a bit as to who might take on the mantle of Wolverine next, once Hugh Jackman leaves the franchise for good. Although he may not be the favorite, he has an influence among the fans. He is one of the strongest contenders to take on the role, given his talent and physicality. However, Marvel boss Kevin Feige doesn't seem to have the same thoughts on the matter.
