Good open world action fighting games have always been hard to find in the Gacha game. In a genre focused on character design and getting players to invest in characters to maximize traction, most gacha games rarely focused on creating fluid open world action combat systems, until Genshin Impact burst onto the scene.

This new Gacha game battle is INSANE

Three years later, we finally have another action-combat Open World game that isn't just a copy of Genshin Impact or from the Hoyoverse. Wuthering Waves is a breath of fresh air with brand new combat dynamics presented in a beautifully designed open world with the least amount of bad gacha mechanics I've seen in this genre. Having played the game extensively since its global release, with plans to continue playing for a long time, here comes my review of Wuthering Waves.

The combat in Wuthering Waves is arguably the best aspect of the game. Wuthering Waves has fast-paced battles, while not being too tiring, with lots of combos, different playstyles, dodge-counter and parry.

From the beginning of the game I was hooked on the combat system. The combat in Wuthering Waves may look complicated at first, but it's actually quite simple. First you have the basic attacks, the Skill attack and then the ultimate attack. In addition to these base three, Wuthering Waves introduces Intro and Outro skills and Resonance Forte skills.
