X Men 97 Season 2: Here's What Happens
X-Men '97 concluded its first season in the glorious, traditional fashion of its predecessor, X-Men: The Animated Series. That is, with a wild cliffhanger.
But unlike last season of The Animated Series, where Professor Xavier left Earth to (presumably) die from wounds sustained in battle with anti-mutant forces, X-Men '97 won't take 27 years to follow up.
Yes! X-Men '97's second season was greenlit back in 2022, and production on it has already largely wrapped, with Marvel Animation ramping up production on a third season as well.
