We all knew that when Call of Duty Black Ops 6 comes to Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft would be itching to raise some prices. Well, it has finally happened. Microsoft has raised the price of the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription for both PC and consoles. Additionally, there is now a new standard Xbox Game Pass tier without access to Day One games.

Microsoft made an official announcement confirming these changes. Additionally, as reported by several industry insiders and reports, there will be various changes surrounding Xbox Game Pass even outside of the trek. Please note that until September 12, 2024, players with recurring billing enabled will pay for their old prices.
For starters, Microsoft has raised the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to $19.99 compared to $16.99 per month. Likewise, a new PC Game Pass subscription will now cost $11.99 instead of $9.99.
The Xbox Game Pass Core annual plan, the replacement for Xbox Live Gold, will now cost $74.99 for 12 months, up from $59.99. However, the monthly subscription price for Game Pass Core will remain unchanged.
