Michael Giacchino's preference for working on Werewolf By Night caused Kevin Feige to be disturbed!

This is Spinal Tap | 7 things you (probably) didn't know

Established in 2008 with Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man, Kevin Feige's Marvel Cinematic Universe took the world by storm. The gripping storyline with extraordinary superhero action that saved the day, and their idea of connecting films through multiple franchises was something the world was missing back then.

When the MCU peaked in 2019 with Avengers: Endgame, Feige's superhero universe broke almost every box office record imaginable. The success has also received huge critical acclaim, praising the superhero franchise for creating an expansive universe made up of all their favorite comic book titles.

However, the president of Marvel Studios was taken aback when Michael Giacchino approached him with arguably the weirdest pitch of them all. The Alias composer came up with the idea of making a TV series based on an obscure character from 1972, Werewolf By Night, which apparently shocked Feige to his core.
