Elden Ring's latest transformation is proof that Hidetaka Miyazaki is learning from his mistakes.

The Real GIGACHAD of Elden Ring

Hidetaka Miyazaki has made it clear several times how Ring of Fire was one of his most extensive projects to date, allowing him to experiment with many mechanics he had in mind for a long time.

This also includes letting the player transform into a literal dragon, something that was introduced in the recent Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, and an effort that is definitely an improvement over whatever happened in Dark Souls 3.

While the main story revolves around the splitting of the Elden Ring and the chaos that ensued, the game also contains a huge amount of lore that revolves around dragons. This theme is surprisingly common among all games released by FromSoftware.
