Mahershala Ali is trying to establish a new hierarchy in the MCU's post-Multiverse Saga but Blade must first find a release date!

BLADE (2025) First Trailer | Mahershala Ali

The world of superheroes and villains will soon be taken over by the realm of the supernatural. Marvel has its fair share of things that go bump in the night, Blade being in the top 5 on that list. But Mahershala Ali's promised movie with the vampire hunter remains elusive, now more than ever.

After being announced at the end of the Infinity Saga, the MCU is almost approaching its next chapter in the Multiverse Saga with Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars. And yet the franchise fails to hold up its end of the bargain on Daywalker.

In 2024, Ryan Reynolds got his nemesis from Blade: Trinity, aka Wesley Snipes, to reprise his iconic bloodthirsty role 20 years later in Deadpool & Wolverine while making him snarl against the MCU's current Blade production. A year ago, fans would have argued that hell would freeze over before Reynolds and Snipes would even agree to be in the same frame together, thus dismissing the entire premise as impossible.
