Buying a new vehicle on eBay Motors

Review the title and hire an inspection service to look at the car prior to purchase. Check the person’s background. Examine the seller’s feedback, ratings and comments. Communicate directly with the seller by phone or through secure channels like the My eBay message center to ensure correspondence is authentic.

eBay does not sell cars for people; nor does it offer a guarantee on used cars. It is a listing service that handles the transaction between a private buyer and seller.

4. select a local dealer to buy the vehicle from.
5. contact the dealer to arrange pickup and payment details.

1. Find your request in the Resolution Centre – opens in new window or tab.
2. Select Take action.
3. Select Close this request.

Cancel a return request

1. Go to your Purchase history – opens in new window or tab and find the item.
2. Select See request details in the More actions dropdown menu.
3. Select Close your request and choose your reason from the dropdown menu.
